Melissa Desjardins is a native of Nashua, New Hampshire and will be completing the intense 10 month program at the Hallmark Institute of Photography in June 2007. The institute focuses on the art, business, and technical aspects of professional photography. She was recently named a finalist in the Best of College Photography Annual 2007.

Her photographic style can be described as classic, clean, and colorful. Melissa's close attention to detail, high energy, and passion for photography lends to her versatility, allowing her to master the balance between commercial and portrait work. Upon graduating, she plans to move to New York City to assist for a few years.
